Getting a free credit report is easy! (Even without having to sign up for expensive credit monitoring services)

 

  1. Go to AnnualCreditReport.com
  2. There you can request a free credit report every year from each of the three main credit bureaus
  3. Have us review your report free of charge

 

NOTE! I don't recommend that you pay extra to get your credit score. Save your money. If you would prefer to obtain a credit report with a fico score, it's important to have a lender such as myself pull your credit. Representatives at the credit bureaus have admitted that the software services they offer to give you your credit score online is simply a simulation software. It is not the same scoring software that is used when a mortgage or finance company pulls your credit, and can sometimes show you an incorrect score.


Additional side note... If you have been recently turned down or denied credit, you may qualify to obtain a free credit report from the credit bureau that your creditor used in conjunction with their credit decision.
